Empowering and connecting Black Penn Med
The Penn Med Black Alumni Society is the first Penn Med alumni organization to advocate specifically for Black students and alumni.
Our mission is to support Black Penn Med students and alumni in their quests to achieve their highest professional, personal, and advocacy goals.
Through networking, mentorship, and advocacy we will support the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in fostering a nurturing, inclusive environment that cultivates generations of Black physician leaders in medicine.
Networking
We are a community of Black alumni of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine dedicated to supporting one another through programming and networking.
Mentorship
We partnered with the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine to curate a mentorship program to support the development of Black students from matriculation to graduation.
Advocacy
We work with the School of Medicine administration to curate an environment that encourages the development of Black physician leaders in medicine.
